Call for proposals AMIF

In the framework of the “Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund” (AMIF) 2014-2020, OLAI launches a call for proposals.

The call for proposal sets out the actions which will be co-financed and the requirements to meet when applying for a co-financing grant.

The final date of submission of the projets is the 30th of September 2016. The selection session will be organized in autumn 2016.

Applications for co-financing

Applications for co-financing shall in particular include:

  • the application form
  • a forecast budget and a financial plan


Proposals can be submitted by the following organizations, provided that they are based in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg:

  • private, nonprofit organizations and bodies
  • public establishments
  • professional chambers
  • ministries and public administrations

Organizations created through intergovernmental agreements and the agencies created  by such organizations, the International Committee of the Red Cross (CICR) and the International Federation of national Red Cross and Red Crescent societies, can also apply for funding of a project.

The selection and steering committee

Applications for co-financing are analyzed by a so-called “selection and monitoring committee” made up of representatives from the:

  • Office luxembourgeois de l’accueil et de l’intégration (OLAI)
  • Ministère des Affaires étrangères et européennes, Direction de l’immigration
  • Ministère des Affaires étrangères et européennes, Direction de la coopération au développement et de l’action humanitaire
  • Ministère de l’Economie
  • Ministère de l’Education nationale, de l’Enfance et de la Jeunesse
  • Ministère de l’Egalité entre les femmes et les hommes
  • Ministère de l’Intérieur
  • Ministère de la Culture
  • Ministère de la Famille, de l’Intégration et à la Grande Région
  • Ministère de la Santé
  • Ministère du Travail, de l’Emploi et de l’Economie sociale et solidaire
  • Syndicat des villes et communes luxembourgeoises (Syvicol)
  • Conseil national pour étrangers (CNE)

 The Committee of beneficiaries

A committee of project beneficiaries is created. It is composed of representatives of all the project executing organizations and the responsible and delegated authorities in charge of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF).

The role of this committee is to monitor the implementation of the fund throughout the period 2014-2020. It also serves as a platform for information and exchange between stakeholders and enables the creation of synergies.
