The OLAI is a public agency under the auspices of the ministry responsible for implementing the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg's integration policy. It was created by the law of 16 December 2008 on the reception and integration of foreigners in Luxembourg , which entered into force on 1 June 2009. The OLAI replaces the Government Commission for Foreigners established in 1993.
The OLAI's target audience is all foreigners legally residing in the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg.
